It can help products stay fresh for longer and make them easier to store, carry and use.\n\nBecause it is lightweight, plastic can also make transport more efficient compared to heavier materials. It helps protect patients and healthcare professionals by reducing contamination risks and allowing medical products to be produced, transported and used safely.\n\nMany medical products need materials that are reliable, clean, easy to sterilise and compatible with strict healthcare standards.
